Religion

I use Bible quotes throughout the site, but it doesn’t mean I think the Bible is perfect.  What it contains are firsthand accounts by human beings who had daily interactions with our alien creators.  It contains some future prophesy by people in contact with our alien creators. It was a moral guide and the necessary guidance for early humans.  The teachings of Jesus still apply today and have been updated by the Urantia book, and looked at in the proper context by truth seekers like myself.  The church still chooses to use the Bible as a means of guilt and control.  They also dismiss new revelations like the Urantia Book as evil and a cult.  They want to keep the truth from you.

Organized religion changed its purpose from teaching to controlling back in the middle ages.  The Bible was written by fallible men, and put together by fallible men.  They decided what to put in it, and what to leave out.  The Bible originally was translated into Latin, and only the church was allowed to have it.  When it was later translated to English, 14 books were removed.  How can you remove books from the perfect word of God???  Need proof?  Look at this verse…

Joshua 10:13

And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.

Where did the Book of Jasher go?   Wasn’t it important?  How can the Bible be perfect if imperfect men wrote it, edited it, put it together, changed it, and translated it??  If you don’t believe me, do some research into the Council of Nicaea.  The Apocrypha, or, for more interesting reading, look up the Book of Enoch.  The church removed it from the original Bible and tried to burn all copies.  It was later discovered and translated from a copy found in Africa.

The multiple translations and rewritings changed the context of the original writings and made it what the church wanted it to be.  The Bible was changed to refer to one God and nearly all references to our creators were removed.  They even created a mythical place they called heaven.  In my opinion, the Darby translation contains more of the original words than others.  Look at this verse…

Matt 7:21Not every one who says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but he that does the will of my Father who is in the heavens.

Instead of the mythical place called heaven, it was supposed to say heavens, which means in space.

So, the Bible is not the perfect word of God like many say it is.

Perfect??  Far from it.   The Bible contains hundreds of contradictions and mistakes.  It only takes ONE to make it not perfect.  You can read some of them below.

The Old Testament was mostly taken from ancient Sumerian writings.  It contains a primitive version of our alien creation written by men who could not comprehend the actual version.  The New Testament is a collection of writings from different writers.  Some of them were accurately describing what they observed; the rest is just opinion and self interpretation of the beliefs of the time.  The words of Jesus were recorded 3 times in Mathew, Mark, and Luke.  These words can be viewed as accurate since we have three versions that are basically the same.  The accuracy is not perfect, but the message is consistent and that is what is important.  The problem is that the major religions have forgotten the message.

Religion has become about making people believe only what they tell them to, and about hiding the truth.  The church does not want you to think for yourself.  They have excuses for everything that doesn’t make sense.  Take the Catholic Church for example.  They have changed their beliefs so many times; it’s hard to keep up.   Their most recent was the recanting of the concept of purgatory.  I guess it was easier to explain the contradiction of Enoch ascending into Heaven than it was to explain why purgatory wasn’t in the Bible.  The Bible even says the Catholic Church is evil.

1 Timothy 4  1Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

 2Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

 3Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

 4For every creature of God is good and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:

 5For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

So do I think all religions teachings are useless?  No, only the parts created by men and the teachings of fear, hate and intolerance that have become a part of religion today.   Our father in the heavens and our alien creators sent the prophets of all religions to teach humans how to live a peaceful life of love and self control.   There is nothing wrong with following the moral compass Jesus gave humanity, we need to if we expect to be saved and achieve eternal life.   The problem exists when religious leaders make up their own rules based on their own beliefs and interpretations of religious writings.  Christianity has become about fear, control, competition, hate and intolerance of other religions.   Islam has become about hate and violence. The doctrine of fear came from primitive man and was included in the religious writings.  Jesus said “ where true love is there is no fear”  We should not fear God, but love him as a father.

The teachings of Jesus must be important, since a celestial being took human form and came to bring us this message.   But, they are moral guides, not guilt ridden, power tripping, means of control that some use them as.    He came to teach us to live in a nonviolent, pure, and loving manner.  We have forgotten his teachings.

We need to update our thinking and learn the new truth.  The Baha’i religion was a good step in that direction, but it did not receive the attention enough to spread the word.  In the world of Islam it was destroyed and hidden away.  In Christianity, other religions have become evil and of the devil.  They wanted us to keep our outdated beliefs and did not want people to know the truth, or any other version of the truth than what they were preaching.  The Urantia Book was given to us in 1935 by celestial beings and explains everything about God, the universe, our purpose, and our future.  Like Islam, the church refuses to endorse it.

Why does the church want to hide all this from us?  Do they think the world will panic? Maybe they are finally going to tell the truth….

Look at these two news stories…..why is the Vatican interested in aliens all of a sudden??

Your approach to religion should be one of an open mind.  You should think for yourself and do not blindly believe any one priest, preacher or evangelist.  You should follow the teachings of Jesus that teach about peace, love, purity, decency, patience, etc,  Do not allow your beliefs to become filled with hate and intolerance.  Do not allow yourself to be suckered into the violence and hate some religious groups have and will spread.  Stand up against it.  Research other more recent religions like Baha’i  and the Urantia Book  to learn their teachings that better fit humans today.   The context of some things has changed.  The truth of Jesus and your ability to achieve eternal life has not.

It is up to people like us to spread the truth, and to get people to stop being sheep.  It is our job to teach people to change their ways.  The church will try and tell you that other beliefs are of the devil….that is an attempt to maintain control over you.  In reality, there is no horned devil living in hell.  Lucifer and Satan were two different beings in our universe and Lucifer rebelled and was punished.  Lucifer and Satan have no direct influence over humans.  The only hell will be the planet Earth when the planet goes through violent upheavals.

Religious control and violent doctrine is why we have terrorism, and extreme right wing nut jobs.   Gullible people follow what people tell them, even if it isn’t remotely true.  We need to help people be less gullible.  We need people to take the teachings of Jesus and make them make sense in today’s terminology.  We need to get people to learn the truth and change their ways from hate and violence, to peace and understanding.

I was raised a Christian, and was one for the first 40 years of my life.  I did not have much trouble adjusting to this new way of thinking that I wholly believe to be true.  It made things clear for me.   I now know that Jesus was a celestial being who took human form and he is coming back to awaken this planet into a new truth.  It is relieving to know the truth and to dismiss all of the church fairy tales and things that did not make sense.  Do I still pray??  Sure!!  God exists as the highest being in our universe and he loves all beings.  Our alien creators and other spirit beings monitor everything we do, say, and think.  They care about us and want us to learn to be righteous. Prayer helps us to get closer to our creators and to learn how they expect us to live.

It is not a big mystery.  It is simple….we were made by alien beings who are part of Gods vast hierarchy of spirit and material beings in the universe…the highest spirit beings sent the prophets to teach humans how to live in peace and civility and only those who have learned will be allowed to achieve eternal life and go on to the mansion worlds that we call heaven.  The foundations of Christianity still exist…God, Jesus, salvation, eternal life still exist but in a different context.
